Bush dream of Privatized Social Security to be realized after 2002 elections.
Former Enron Execs in the Bush Administration will fashion "privatized" Social Security.

Something funny, boys?
"God helps those who help themselves to Americans' hard earned
Social Security money."

The Bush give away continues completely unabated ...

We told you so. We told you so. We told you so.
Social Security is the birthright of every American
citizen. Or was, or had been, or will have been. We'll have to use a past tense
in refering to most of our former birthrights. Oh, well. Ted says that 40
million Americans have no medical insurance. So what? That's not a majority.
What he doesn't say is that a majority have the least medical access they can
afford. And decisions about what they can or can't afford are controlled by
insurance companies. Ted doesn't mention that when jobs are Enronized there is
no medical access at all. Nor does he philosophize about the fact that insurance
as a means of delivering medical care is simply institutionaized tyranny. And
now Bush is set to realize his dream of doing the same to Social Security.
You gotta love it.
Because now, as unbelievable as it may seem to anybody with a
properly functioning neocortex, Bush is set to extend his control of all three
branches of government, Judiciary, Legislative, and Executive. He has new
regulations aimed at foisting his rightist agenda on Americans in every possible
manner. Rightist judges are to be fast-tracked into courts all across America.
Newt Gingrich himself gloated from his home in Florida about the prospects on
NightLine with Ted Koppel. Bushies marching in cadence are set to extend
control of the House of Representatives. Bushies marching in cadence are set
to command control of the Senate. The king himself will be on the throne
for at least another six more years.
How do we feel about that? We're pleased as punch. Why?
Because we told you so, we told you so, we told you so. How do you feel about

Dreaming of War: Bush-Cheney War Machine
Looking beyond the incredibly useful sentimentality of 9/11; WMD,
indeed. Are we concerned about all the BS about Iraq? Get serious. It may be around 94.37% BS. Machiavellian? Machiavellian, Schmachiavellian. Hey, whatever works, right? Even if Hussein were to want to do for Iraq what Ataturk did for Turkey, we ain't never gonna find out, are we? Le Monde and Der Spiegel keep carping about how it's
really all about oil. Everybody knows the road to the future leads through Baghdad.
Especially, Putin, Chirac and Schroeder. Ostensibly they say that Britain and America should
not do it alone without a proper decorous facade. All they are really concerned about
is how much of the spoils of war will be given to the French, Germans and Russians.
Ditto the Chinese. The best thing about Iraq is that after it is over Bush will be in
your face and on your back for six more years. At least. Term limits can be changed.
Maybe now you can understand why Bush the elder didn't go to Baghdad the first time. Iraqi Oil, American Bonanza?

One more thing. Did we get any silly ideas from Gore Vidal's latest
book? Absolutely not. We haven't read any of his silly books. That Gore Vidal fellow
undoubtedly read what really happened. Then he shuttled off to Italy to write his
stuff on his own. So there.
"Gore Vidal has the power to drive conservatives insane, I can't say
why, but the mere mention of his name seems to turn them into screaming
maniacs, that alone would make this book worth owning" - orangeduke

by Gore Vidal Post Election Update: We told you so, we told you so , we told you so! Somebody pinch Paul Krugman. He's dreaming again. The opinions expressed in his latest article will never amount to anything with that twit, Tom Daschle, leading the Dems. Both of these gentlemen seem to ignore the reasons why this Yertle is unstoppable. nytimes.com/2002/11/08/opinion/08KRUG.html truthout.org/docs_02/11.16A.krug.wilderness.htm 99.999% seem to ignore the reasons why America's Yertle is unstoppable.
