Dinosaur animation tutorial using
Xara X and Xara 3D. You can also use CorelXara and/or Xara X together with Xara
3D. Or you can use any app which will make Windows meta files to prepare the
objects for importation into Xara 3D. Then it's a snap to put the text image on
the object and get your 3D animation. Here's what one Buddycom member
reported: Just got Xara Webster. Couldn't wait for Xara X. I opened a
dinosaur texture image into Webster and cut out the excess. Then saved as a
.xar file. That's all there was to it for making the object. Then imported the
object into Xara 3D. The shape of a Pentaceratops showed up. Cool. Then I
clicked on texture and used the original dino skin JPG. You can see the
progression in the attached images. I added a yellow shadow and clicked on
export animation. |
